I have a multidisciplinary background from computer science, pedagogy, social sciences, and economics. I started my doctoral studies in Computer Science in August 2015. My research concerns implementation of Computer Science education from participatory design perspective.
Currently, I am carrying out one year research visit in Aarhus University. I am involved in developing a new discipline for Danish lower secondary education: Technology Comprehension. The new discipline combines design, programming, and ethical concerns as a multi-disciplinary topic.
During 2014-2015, I was part of ONSPACE research project. The project developed a learning space management system for the Valteri School Onerva, in Finland. We defined the requirements of the system with special education teachers of the school.
I have been teaching mostly in the University of Jyväskylä. My main responsibility has been the Master's thesis seminar of Computer Science students. Furthermore, I have been teaching courses related to human-computer interaction, object-oriented design, and programming.
